Discover your talents, the strongest traits in you that will be your biggest tool. Don’t forget to align your talents with your areas of interest. If you don’t have any talent or expertise in the area you are diving in to you will find it really difficult to survive then. Also always try to improve your talents or develop new ones that will keep you competent for future competition. The same goes with your values as well.
Once you have you have developed your mission statement that is specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and time bound, you will be able to determine your projects as well. One thing to keep in mind that you project planning should be really in-depth and well planned. Your main focus is to achieve your mission in life which might have life span of 50 years but your projects have to be more precise and concurrent that can be based on 1, 2, 5, 10 or even 25 years. Also be specific about the roles that you will be playing in your projects. Keeping your project and role in your mind, you will be sketching your project plan. Keep in mind that you will need to prioritize your projects and plans as well as address them according to your planned deadline or time scale.
