 For some people, it is a reason to live. For other people, it is the goal that they are fighting for. For other people, it is their dream, their final hope in this life. It could be also, a puprpose to live this life for some people. Maybe it is responsible to give people the needed strengh and make them fight more ...

 But, whatever it is for anybody in this life, it gives us always, the needed power to work harder, it always gives us the needed hope to be a better persons, to make a real change in this life. Setting a goal in our minds and working hard to get it nomatter what, will give us the right vision about what do we truely want in this life.

That's why, there's behind every successful man in this life, a goal that has been set longtime ago, and believing that nobody in this world could take it off from him, now we are living a life where every success is the result of thoughts that have made by people who truely believed that they are able, to change the something in this world.

Cloud .. stands for Cloud-Computing

When I talked about cloud-computing and how that can reduces the stress! some comments were talking about clouds in the sky and how that's relaxing.. pretty strange because they directly refer to relaxing in the nature lol

In fact what I'm talking about is a computing-cloud, and it's relatively new term which is customer focused.

A cloud because the users will not care what there is inside.

Did you ever asked where is inside Google Docs? Google search? or other web applications?
Actually that's not really mature cloud-technologies, but that helps to understand.

SO WHAT'S CLOUD COMPUTING?

For customers
It's a services that is provided as the customer will not care where it is running, where it is stored, and how it can works. All what matters is that the data and program are there somewhere available when needed, everywhere and all the time.

For IT guys and Gurus
It's all technologies that will run applications in a centralized way and offer access to the service.
The cloud will include all security and availability tools as firewalls, redundancy and backup.

The cloud will reduce your stress

That seems that more we acquire technology, more we become stressful and busy.

This time things seems to be different, I tried it and I feel less stressful, and in constant peace.

Move my data to the cloud, what ever it is, Google Chrome Sync, Google Docs, Dropbox, BOX.net, 4Shared.. and there is more while Google, Apple, HP and Microsoft want all focus on the cloud.

BUT WHY??

If you ever read the book GTD, you'll directly understand the relation between Syncing your data and keep it in the cloud and reducing the stress.

In fact, the stress comes from a fear or losing control. And if you are working with a non reliable technology as if you're keeping your critical data in your laptop, where you are afraid if you HD crashes??! or lose your smartphone with all your contacts??!

Actually you know that where ever you are and no matter the device you are using, your data is there somewhere waiting for you.

Or waiting for some other hacker guy?


That's another point that I don't want to focus on right now. But in most cases, which is also for me, even if my data is personal, but i don't care if I put in at somebodies server where there is a minimum trust.

IT is the engine of your startup

What role the IT is using in today businesses? We agree that it's very important reducing costs, saving time and more..

But what's the case for startups where money to invest on IT is limited? No time organize the IT?

Startup is a business with few people working usually at the same place, everything is shared manually, woking around the same table.. so few computers is all your IT.

But think closer, startup guys need sometimes to be working else, having different work hours frame, than you better think about automatize  you work and keep it in a well-share.

I talked before about tools that you can use like Google Apps, BOX, Dropbox, Apptivo.. and many more. And depending on your nature of business, you may need one or more of those, with a really reduced costs and sometimes for free.

Google Apps
How if you work with Google Apps? It's $50 per year per account.. and it will enables you to work in the cloud, work everywhere and never loose a document or a meeting (Google Calender with notification by SMS). What's very important too, is that your computers needed will be cheaper are no powerful devices are needed.

Apptivo
Apptivo is a suit that I compare to an ERP for small businesses. You're very flexible, so this tool will help you much for free (some options a not free which requires tiers-part). And even if there is some special option that it's not supported.. Don't forget, you're flexible, and you can adopt a procedure of work easily..

Remote team members
I already read on a book called ReWork.. a team working in a startup where member are not in the same state, sometime not in the same country or a continent. How that could be possible without IT systems??

remove all obstacles for you to be flexible, and enable all your potential with an effective IT system..
But don't keep the IT leading you.. inverse it, you should lead it to help yourself.. Heavy IT procedures are the enemy of flexibility and innovation.. NEVER FORGET THAT
